N.V.T.It all started with an American in Amstelveen
The English Center was founded in 2009 by American Brenda de Jong-Pauley, MA.
Serving Amstelveen, Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam, the English Center approach follows Brenda’s values and training in psychology and education. Brenda also draws on her international business experience to create a learning atmosphere that is welcoming, challenging, and highly personalized. And Brenda has listened to her clients, who have consistently demanded professional native-speaker teachers. This is especially important for our Dutch clients, who are often already at an intermediate to advanced level of English and need to get the nuanced, advanced training that only a native-speaker can provide.
In nine years, The English Center has grown from a one-teacher endeavor to a partnership that served 600 unique students last year.
With a team of carefully selected native-speaker teachers from the UK, the US and Canada, we help individuals, groups and corporations achieve their English goals.
